To emulsify tar, asphalt, bitumen and asphalt-based plastic cement, apply undiluted to the soiled surface by spraying, mopping or pouring. Allow to stand 2-4 minutes for deep penetration, agitate if necessary. Rinse with water preferably under pressure.

Apply with mop, sprayer or brush. Allow to stand 1-2 minutes. For best results, agitate the area while CROWNE NATURAL is penetrating. Hose off with water and squeegee or vacuum dry.

Brush or spray concentrate on surface to be cleaned. Allow 3-5 minutes to soak in. Rinse with hot water or steam off.

To remove oil and grease, pour CROWNE NATURAL on sponge or cloth and apply to soiled area. Blot soiled area with sponge or cloth. If spot remains, repeat process. To remove chewing gum, blot CROWNE NATURAL on gum and let stand for 2 minutes. Use a tongue depressor or the dull edge of a knife to scrape off. It is always best to test CROWNE NATURAL on an inconspicuous area before applying.

(Concrete floors, grills and hoods, kitchen floors, machinery, etc.). Spray or sponge on, allow to stand 2-4 minutes before reining with clear water. CROWNE NATURAL may be diluted up to 50:1 with water, depending on desired task and applied in the same manner.

Sponge, mop or brush on surface. Let stand 2-3 minutes, agitate and rinse with clear water.

CROWNE NATURAL deodorizes and liquefies grease and scum which cause clogging. Add 3-4 ounce to each drain and let 5-10 minutes, then flush with hot water or 2 minutes.

Mix 1 gallon of CROWNE NATURAL to 20 gallons of warm water. Spray to solution on surface to be cleaned or degreased. Let stand for 2-3 minutes. If necessary, agitate with a brush then hose off with water.

Pour CROWNE NATURAL on cloth and apply to area being cleaned. Rub until adhesive is removed.

For drains stopped up due to grease accumulations, pour 4 ounces of concentrate directly into drain. Allow to stand 10 minutes, wash down with hot water. If not completely cleared, repeat. Same procedure is used for bathroom sinks and tubs.

Ideal for removing soap film incrustation on walls of shower and tub. Apply with sponge, allow to stand for 1-2 minutes. agitate, if necessary and rinse off.

Remove oil stains from concrete driveways. Pour or spray CROWNE NATURAL directly on stain. Allow 3-5 minutes to dissolve stain, rinse off.

REMOVES STAINS FROM NATURAL FIBER CLOTHING: To remove oil, grease and food stains from

clothing, pour CROWNE NATURAL on cloth and apply to soiled area. Wash with detergent as usual.

If spot remains, repeat process. Always test an inconspicuous area of clothing before applying.

For indoor use, dilute 1 ounce of CROWNE NATURAL with 1 gallon of cold water. Apply through a sprayer to odor source. For outdoor use, dilute 2 ounces of CROWNE NATURAL with 1 gallon of cold water and follow same procedure. Do not use directly on pets.

RM-100 is a high flash solvent degreaser that meets the needs of today’s industry.

Almost all manufacturing and fabricating factories have traditionally used chlorinated solvents to quickly clean and degrease parts in both productions and maintenance operations. One of the most widely used chlorinated solvents is 1, 1, 1-trichloroethane. This chlorinated solvent has been the product of choice because of the unique characteristics it possesses; it has no flash point and can be used around sparks and open flames with no explosion hazard. In addition, 1,1,1 is non-conductive, evaporates rapidly and residue-free. These unique qualities make 1,1,1 widely used, not only in heavy industry but also in dry cleaning and some electronic component operations.

Unfortunately, for all of its good qualities, 1,1,1-trichloroethane is a suspected ozone depleted. Because of this concern, the U.S. Government has imposed a tax to discourage its use. In addition to this, used 1,1,1 is considered a hazardous waste and is extremely costly to dispose of properly.

In an effort to find a suitable replacement for 1,1,1-trichloroethane, manufacturers have tried various petroleum distillates and citrus solvents that typically have slow evaporation time and a flash point below 140o. Solvents with flash points below 140o are considered hazardous in the workplace due to their ignite-ability (according to EPA 40 CFR 261.21). Because of these concerns, Crowne Chemical Corp has developed RM-100 high flash degreaser.

RM-100 has a flash point of 141o. In addition to this high flash point, in most cases RM-100 can be disposed of as waste oil ** as opposed to hazardous waste. Because most factories are already disposing of waste oil and coolants, the use and disposal of RM-100 incurs little, if any additional costs. There are many qualities of 1,1,1- trichloroethane that are unique, and RM-100 is by no means a perfect replacement. Obviously, RM-100 and its evaporation is slower and less complete than 1,1,1. The fact is that no product can replace 1,1,1 completely, but RM-100 is a unique alternative that there is a real need for.

When calling on or prospecting industrial accounts, call on the safety or environmental engineer, ask if he/she is using 1,1,1-trichloroethane for parts and equipment cleaning, and if the answer is yes, show them RM-100.
